Sub Competency

The Sub Competency Maintenance can be used to achieve a more granular break down of Competencies if desired. Sub Competencies allow you to give a criteria another way of categorizing a Criteria Section and gives it another list of Phrases to choose from when going through the Appraisal. (I.e., the parent Competency is leadership, Sub Competencies could be motivation, and group goal setting).

  1. New
    To create a new 'Sub Competency' click on the 'New' icon.

  2. ID
    Enter an ID for this Sub Competency.

  3. Description
    Enter a Description for this Sub Competency.

  4. Parent Competency
    Select the Competency with which the Sub Competency is associated.

  5. Save
    Once you are satisfied with your selections, click on 'Save'.
